Orin “Rocky” Sterling Kent II, 74, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on August 7, 2018.
Rocky was born in Keene, New Hampshire on October 31, 1943. He was one of the first Eagle Scouts in Potsdam, NY and went on to graduate from Norwich University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He was also a life member of the Elks Club chapter in Potsdam, NY for 51 years.
Rocky worked as a Cost Accountant in the construction industry for over 40 years. He worked in many states across the country and was privileged to be the Senior Project Accountant for major projects such as The Venetian in Las Vegas and Trump Towers in New York City.
Rocky is survived by his three children, Stephen Kent and his wife Suzie; Brian Kent; Deborah Kent; his 3 grandchildren Austin Kent, Aaron Kent and Brookelyn Lady-Kent; his brother, Bruce Kent and sister, Mary Serbinski.
Rocky is preceded in death by his parents, Orin N. Kent and Blanche L. Kent; as well as his wife, Elizabeth “Betsy” Kent.
The visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Indiana Funeral Care South (2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, IN 46143). Private family burial will follow the visitation at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana.
